Baby Shower at Baar Baar NYC

In November, we celebrated our baby shower with the most wonderful friends and family at Baar Baar in NYC and today I’m sharing some photos and a short video from our celebration! The party started in the late afternoon and went into the evening- with lots of food, drinks and of course I had to make guests suffer by planning some games! It’s been a blessing to have so much love and good energy around us as we begin this next chapter in our lives and we will always look back at these memories with so much joy!

Choosing the venue & vendors:

I wanted a venue that would make hosting the shower as seamless as possible. This meant choosing a place that already had a caterer, tables, chairs, etc. so I wouldn’t have to do much coordinating! We also wanted a place that would be conducive to a “party” atmosphere rather than feeling like a traditional (i.e. boring) baby shower.

Baar Baar was the perfect fit for us- with it’s grand bar, warm and cozy decor and of course the Indian fusion menu!! We met with the owner, talked logistics, tried a lot of the dishes and it was a done deal! We were extremely happy with the service, food and entire planning process. I highly recommend Baar Baar for your next private event or just for dinner!!

We brought in some of our tried and true vendors like Elegant Affairs & DJ USA who our family has worked with a lot over the years. I truly believe in working not only with good vendors- but good PEOPLE. Sharad has always shown us so much love and is extremely professional- I highly recommend DJ USA !! Vikram & Sharda Aunty at Elegant Affairs are also two people who I genuinely look forward to catching up with. They always deliver BEYOND what they promise! Another vendor I highly recommend!
