Few weeks ago I  posted a “Question” on my IG account @thechutneylife and asked my awesome followers to recommend their favorite leggings! I got so many great responses and SO many people wanted to know the answer. We all need some comfy, forgiving and not to mention GOOD LOOKING leggings during these cold months so today I’m sharing the top recommendations from that little Q&A.

I  did actually go out and try a few of these myself and found a personal favorite! So keep reading to see which one ended up being my favorite and why!

Lululemon Align

Expensive but women found it to be worth the price tag! Plus, they will hem the leggings to your needs for free! One follower responded, “Any lululemon pant, I  swear by. Never thought I’d spend $100 on a pair but worth it.” The Lululemon Wander Under were a close second!

Zella Live in 7/8

These are high waist, have pockets and 7/8 length means they hit right above the ankle! Plus Nordstrom’s awesome return policy means you can give them back easily if they don’t work for you!

Aerie Chill Leggings

Ok, Aerie is pretty much the GO TO place for all things ACTUALLY comfy. One follower said, “Aerie Chill! comfortable, flattering, opaque. Stay looking new. Better than lululemon.”

Lou & Grey Ponte Leggings

If you’ve ever had the opportunity to touch ANYTHING Lou & Grey, you know I don’t need to explain how soft their entire collection is! One follower said, “They are thick enough for all seasons, not sheer, don’t fade, don’t stretch out. I have 4 pairs.”

Costco Matty M Leggings

Why am I    NOT surprised that leggings from Costco made this list? Check out these Maddy M leggings next time you make a trip and don’t leave without sampling a few things too! lol. They’re much cheaper at Costco, but if you don’t have a membership you can grab them from Amazon

American Giant Leggings

Honestly, I  had never even heard of this brand until I    did this poll and women started responding! After a quick google search I  got to their page and these leggings look like a LOT of research and effort went into their design.

Which leggings did I try?

Zella Leggings: I  found these to be comfortable but because of the seam on the outsides of the legs, they had more of an athletic feel to them versus the everyday black legging I was looking for. They would be great for the gym, or yoga!

AE Chill Leggings: These are at a great price point and probably are my second fave!

Spanx were a runner up so I gave them a try but felt like they were just too uncomfortable at the waist and ya girl does not need that much compression on the daily! lol

Which leggings WIN!?

In my humble opinion, I found the Lou & Grey Ponte leggings to be fantastic. They are opaque, comfortable at the waist, ankle length and a very dark black that doesn’t look faded. The only thing I’d say is that I wish they were a wee bit tighter at my ankle (I  have slim legs) but because they aren’t so tight- they almost look like a skinny pant at the bottom- which I’m not totally mad about either. I  put them through the wash and they still look brand new! They are thick, and definitely presentable in public!
