It’s no secret that I  love me good ol delicious naan pizza because its super easy and also because Stone Fire Naan is so damn good. Check out this IGTV video my little cousins Dev & Chandani did to show my IG fam how to make their favorite stove top naan pizza if you haven’t already checked it out!

Today however, I  wanted to share this broccoli naan pizza that has a delicious creamy base layer of ricotta and feta whipped together with some garlic and honey! It’s a nice change little change from the usual red sauce pizza (although margharita pizzas are my absolute favorite EVER) and it’s pretty easy to whip up!

Hope you all enjoy this recipe and be sure to tag me on @thechutneylife so I  can see all your creations for myself!

Naan Pizza with Whipped Ricotta & Spicy Broccoli

Prep

Cook

Total

Yield 3-4 Pizzas

Ingredients

Whipped Ricotta:

In a small bowl or mini food processor combine the following until well blended:

1/2 cup ricotta

1/3 cup feta

2 cloves garlic, grated

black pepper

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Broccoli:

2 cloves garlic, grated

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp red chili flakes

1/2 of a lemon zested

1/2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 cup or generous amount pecorino romano

For Pizzas:

4 Naan Bases (I    prefer Stone Fire Naan or Haldirams Tandoori Garlic Naan)

Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Heat a large pot on medium high heat and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli florets to the water and cook for about 3 minutes until broccoli is just slightly fork tender but not breaking a part. The broccoli should still have some bite and keep it's shape. Remove from water and drain on paper towel.
  3. Place the broccoli on a cutting board and roughly chop it so it's into bite size pieces (smaller if you like) and toss in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Meanwhile, blend everything for the ricotta mixture and set it aside.
  5. Take your naan and spread 2-3 spoonfuls of the ricotta mixture all over. Top with the broccoli, handful of mozzarella cheese,  and place in the oven to bake for about 6-8 minutes or until the naan is crispy on the bottom and cheese has melted.
  6. Top pizza with additional drizzle of honey or crushed red chili flakes if desired. Enjoy hot!
